Prebiotin™ Reduces Triglycerides Levels

Printable Version  |  Email

Along with cholesterol, the fatty substance triglyceride is clearly related to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and coronary artery disease. It has been known for some time that diets low in cholesterol and fat and high in vegetables, fruits and whole grains result in lower triglycerides in the blood.

The prebiotic fibers as found in Prebiotin™ have now been shown, both in animal and some early human studies, to lower blood triglycerides and even, on occasion, cholesterol. So, along with other dietary and medical programs, the PrebiotinTM formula of oligofructose enriched inulin can be helpful in the role of controlling elevated triglyceride.
